The icon completely cocked up! It was supposed to be SRM against a grey wall, I cropped the image, and for some reason it's only displaying a piece of wall that's completely unrelated. I have no clue why and I'm pretty sure the crappy icon is responsible for the low viewers.
The new toon I'm working on now is the fabled SRM Goes to College along with a few other ideas.

I would love to be, but I don't put out stuff as often as Eddsworld and my cartoons aren't 10 minutes of mindless violence like Madness, so that'll never happen here.
It's easily your best work, and probably at least my second favourite toon next to the Fallout 3 one, but I find it such a shame it hasn't gotten the attention it deserves :(
I think it's because a lot of the things that go on the Frontpage are generic video game parodies (which can still sometimes be great), stupid fight scenes and violence (seriously I hate Madness and don't get the hype) and internet/meme-related stuff (and the occasional gems which will go on to the Top 100.) There isn't a lot of the basic-cartoon-fundamental animations which follows a main character's life and situations like SRM (and also stuff like Blockhead - which is hilarious.) I really wish there was more of that.
So keep it up, man. Besides, don't let view count put you down (they probably don't put you down in the first place), because you still have potential as seen in stuff like SRM Transformers. Also, did your newest SRM actually go on frontpage? It got an award but I never saw it there...

You're preaching to the choir here! I was really put off when that terrible Xionic Madness cartoon beat me out for the day, then a handful of other animations I didn't watch. Then again, Newgrounds is like that, and always has been. My most popular stuff here was the SRM Transformers series, which, while I enjoyed making, are broad parodies without too much of my own characterization in them.
Unfortunately SRM Needs a Roommate never got front page, although it did get an award. It also has a godawful icon because something screwed up on Newgrounds' icon uploader. I've tried to change it to a good icon half a dozen times, but every time it doesn't change anything and I'm left with a grey squiggle. I PMed Tom about it but he never got back to me.
Glad you liked the toon, and yes, I'm writing a few SRM cartoons right now and SRM Goes to College is one of them.
